Summary: We are seeking a skilled and delivery-focused Python Backend Developer to design and build scalable server-side applications using modern Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. This role involves API development, database integration, performance optimization, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have more years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Python, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python frameworks: Flask, Django, FastAPI. 2. API & Microservices: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless communication across systems. 3. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software. 4. Performance Optimization: Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through profiling and tuning. 5. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. 6. Security: Implement security and data protection measures across backend services. 7. Agile Practices: Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions to drive continuous improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Years of experience in Python backend development. 2. Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI. 3. Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems: SQL/NoSQL , PostgreSQL, MongoDB. 4. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. 5. Experience with Kubernetes, CI, CD pipelines, and cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure. 6. Understanding of asynchronous programming, caching strategies, and message queues: Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka. 7. Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools. 8. Proficiency in unit testing and mocking frameworks. 9. Domain Expertise: Backend Architecture: Microservices, API gateways, service orchestration. 10. Data Management: Structured and unstructured data handling, schema design. 11. DevOps Integration: CI-CD workflows, containerization, cloud deployment. 12. Knowledge of Compliance & Security: OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices. 13. Data privacy and protection standards: GDPR, HIPAA. 14. Authentication and authorization mechanisms: OAuth2, JWT. 15. Focus: Develop and maintain scalable backend systems with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and integration across platforms Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Python - Programming Language. 2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. 3.
