The Growth Americas for ISV Partners (GA) Program is a proactive, territory-aligned coverage model for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) below the MPL. The program is designed to help ISVs who have developed solutions on the Microsoft platform accelerate their revenue and customer growth.

We assist partners in accelerating their sales cycle by building repeatable processes within their organization to access Microsoft customers by leveraging Microsoft sellers, the Commercial Marketplace, and the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem. The program also focuses on helping partners grow in Co-Sell Deals, Azure Consumable Revenue, Marketplace Billed Sales, and consumption of Azure AI Solutions.

The Work

Partner Business Advisors (PBA) is responsible for managing and expanding Key Strategic Independent Software Vendors - ISV Partners. PBAs expand their current partnership to create a balanced portfolio, grow business, and fill market opportunities. Influences partners and business leaders to upsell Microsoft products and services. They also act as subject matter expert SME to identify, engage, onboard, and qualify sought after partners with new and complex applications or solutions to expand Microsoft s platform and fill gaps. They understand and align partners priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft s to build mutually beneficial account plans. The program focuses on YoY Growth in Azure Deals, Azure IP Co Sell Wins, Compensable ACR, ACR and Marketplace listing and transactions.

The Role:

  • Emphasis on accelerating ISV Independent Software Vendor sales through seller-to-seller engagement and transacting in Azure Marketplace
  • Active ISV engagement with a portfolio of partners through individual connections and activation of scale motions.
  • Work with ISV to understand, enroll and activate all eligible Marketplace Cloud Partner Program Benefits - ISV Success Program.
  • Assist partner in publishing a Marketplace Transact offer and incorporating transacting in Azure Marketplace as their sales teams preferred the fulfillment process.
  • Partner Business Planning lightweight accountability creation
  • Support ISV around leveraging Azure, Dynamics or Teams to launch new solutions.
  • Explore GTM opportunities for ISV to increase market visibility and pipeline growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Mora than 1 year of experience in sales.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Partner Management Roles.
  • English minimum level C1 required.
  • High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Background as Partner Channel Managers (PCMs), Opportunity Managers and/or Solution Area Specialists (Azure).
  • Proven experience in managing and cultivating a Partner's Portfolio is essential.
  • Previous experience working with Channels and Partners within the Technology Industry, with primary focus on Cloud transformation, Software development, etc.
  • Previous experience supporting a partner business plan and has previous experience with selling technology solutions.
  • Experience developing business plans for MACC Agreements is required.
  • Preferable with Previous experience with Microsoft Digital Inside Sales Business: Knowledge of the Microsoft Sales Cycle for Corp, Enterprise, Strategic Accounts.
  • Certification in Azure Fundamentals - AZ 900 is desirable but not required.
  • Preferable with experience working with partners that have high visibility with Microsoft.
