About the role:

The Senior Manager will play a pivotal leadership driving Engineering, PLM, and R&D transformation programs for marquee clients across key industries. The role combines client advisory, large-scale transformation delivery, offering development, and business growth, with a strong focus on Industry X, digital engineering, and intelligent product lifecycle enablement.

The candidate will bring deep functional expertise across PLM, Engineering, and R&D, strong understanding of digital and AI-led transformation, and proven leadership in client engagements, sales, and capability building.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver in Engineering and R&D Transformation Programs to drive Innovation and Process Enablement for the Clients

• Build & curate offerings in PLM Enablement, material, tools, develop relevant assets, Integrated BOM, Product & Engineering Master Data Management and Digital Twin and Thread areas and lease with Accenture leadership on these assets and offerings
• Drive client value creation through participating in Industry X related project (Digital
Transformation) deliveries as well as support in end-to-end sales lifecycle (deal origination to sales)

• Contributing positively to the leadership group of R&D transformation utilizing the PLM capabilities by creating business processes for Package/Product design, Part Management, Bill of Material Management, Engineering Change Management, Document Management, Product Structure, Product Research, Simulations, Prototyping, Product Testing (qualitative & quantitative) and supplier collaboration and more.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of client manufacturing/production operations to identify areas ripe for Industry X interventions
• Strong understanding of digital/AI use-cases and impact in manufacturing/production operations
• Analyze client needs and translate them into actionable roadmaps incorporating relevant
Industry X technologies such as IoT, Big Data, Cloud, AI, and Machine Learning.
• Develop and present compelling business cases highlighting the potential return on investment (ROI) associated with Industry X initiatives.

• Design & execute measurable go-to-market activities & initiatives aligned with the objectives of the business group.
• Manage and lead client engagements, ensuring successful project execution within budget and timelines.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors and system integrators, to deliver seamless project implementation.
• Stay abreast of the latest Industry X trends and technologies, continuously expanding your knowledge base to provide clients with cutting-edge insights.
• Build networks at Accenture to be able to bring the best of Accenture to the client

• Own & manage key stakeholder relationships with global offering leaders

• Deliver high-impact client solutions by bringing together offerings with a clear understanding of the client problem statement.

• Own & grow the consulting business in areas mentioned above.

• Support proposals and build eminence in Digital Engineering and R&D Capabilities

• Contribute to growth and development of Accenture’s DERD offering and support recruitment, training, coaching

• Support management in RFP, Estimation and work breakdown

Qualifications:

Educational qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with Master´s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar discipline.

• Advanced level of English.

Required experience:
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in consulting specific to PLM, Process Excellence, Functional Solutioning, Solution designing, Data Governance, Digital Transformations and shaping end to end Engineering Transformations

• At least 8 years of full cycles implementation experience in PLM involving multiple systems in areas of PLM, BOM, ECM, MDM & Digital thread space.

• Proven experience in large-scale consulting engagements and transformation programs

• Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management capabilities

• Experience working with digital, AI, IoT, Cloud, and advanced analytics in engineering/manufacturing contexts

• Demonstrated leadership in offering development, asset creation, and team building

• Knowledge and exposure to advanced PLM technologies

• Well-versed with PLM Modules, best practices and Capabilities across multiple industries

• Good understanding of PLM and Data Management Processes

• Good understanding of integrating PLM with cloud skills (Azure, AWS) preferred

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where continuous innovation is desired.

• Analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

• Ability to clearly communicate these data insights to others.

• General Manager / owner mentality, work closely with Team to deliver
