Job Summary:
We are seeking a Semiconductor Materials Manufacturing Digital Process Transformation Engineer to support ERP-led manufacturing transformation initiatives across semiconductor materials, fabrication, equipment and OSAT environments.

The role focuses on digitizing and optimizing manufacturing, costing, engineering, commercial and project execution processes using SAP S/4HANA as the digital core. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, domain knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing and the ability to translate complex shop-floor and engineering requirements into scalable digital solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support ERP-driven manufacturing and engineering process transformation initiatives for semiconductor and high-tech clients, including value assessments, business cases, and future-state design.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA functional design across manufacturing-centric domains, including:
  • Production Planning (PP) for fab, assembly, test and materials manufacturing
  • Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS) for manufacturing cost flows, CapEx programs, and engineering projects
• Support Sales & Distribution (SD) and Customer Service (CS) process design where relevant to semiconductor materials, equipment sales, service orders, warranty, and aftermarket execution.
• Contribute to SD with Vistex solution design to support pricing models, rebates, chargebacks, and complex commercial agreements common in semiconductor and equipment businesses.
• Support Master Data Management (MDM) activities, including material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, customer, and vendor data aligned to manufacturing and finance processes.
• Analyze manufacturing and engineering pain points such as yield variance, rework, scrap, wafer/test costing, subcontracting, and materials traceability to inform system and process design.
• Support integration of SAP S/4HANA with manufacturing and engineering systems, including MES, APS equipment integration, yield managemen and traceability platforms.
• Assist in requirements gathering, scope definition, and solution blueprinting, translating shop-floor and engineering needs into system-ready designs.
• Prepare and maintain delivery artefacts including functional specifications, process flows, configuration documentation, test scenarios and execution trackers.
• Participate in end-to-end testing cycles, including data migration validation, system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Communicate design decisions, risks, and progress clearly to client and internal stakeholders through structured workshops and presentations.
• Support proposal and pursuit activities, contributing to solution approaches, estimates, and industry-specific value propositions.
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks to ensure quality outcomes and timeline adherence.
• Enable user adoption and knowledge transfer through training, documentation, and post-go-live hypercare support.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Core SAP & digital skills

• Proficiency in SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, Profit Center Accounting) with strong FI integration.
• Solid understanding of SAP PS, including project structuring, planning, budgeting, execution tracking and settlement.
• Working knowledge of SAP PP for manufacturing planning, execution alignment and cost flow integration.
• Exposure to SD, CS, and SD with Vistex in semiconductor or industrial contexts.
• Strong understanding of SAP Master Data concepts across manufacturing and finance domains.

Semiconductor & Manufacturing Domain Skills

• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing flows, including materials processing, wafer fab, test & assembly, OSAT subcontracting, and multi-step BOM costing.
• Understanding of engineering change impacts, yield management, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost drivers.
• Familiarity with MES, APS, equipment integration, and traceability systems is a strong advantage.

Consulting & delivery skills

• Ability to analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare documentation: functional specs, technical specs, process maps, test scripts, user guides.
• Assist with data migration, data validation and integration testing.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams including supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, procurement and IT.
• Deliver user training and adoption support.
• Contribute to thought leadership (white papers, case studies, industry insights).
