Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that the database systems meet the needs of the organization and support its goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Monitor database performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Assist in the development of database policies and procedures to ensure data integrity. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Database Management. - Strong understanding of relational database management systems. - Experience with database backup and recovery techniques. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of database queries. - Knowledge of security best practices for database management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Database Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
