What would you do? We are seeking a detail-driven E-commerce Quality Analyst (QA) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all digital merchandising outputs before publication. This role is responsible for conducting structured quality checks on product listings, content, images, and data managed by Merchandisers across multiple online retail platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, deep understanding of e-commerce content standards, and the ability to enforce SLAs and quality benchmarks to maintain digital shelf excellence. In a Marketing Operations job profile, responsibilities include managing and optimizing marketing processes and systems. This involves tasks such as campaign execution, data analysis, and budget management. The goal is to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of marketing technologies. It is essential for ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented smoothly and deliver measurable results. Act of overseeing all activities and tasks needed to maintain a desired level of excellence. This may include the determination of a quality policy, creating and implementing quality planning and assurance, and quality control and quality improvement.
What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. Minimum 3–4 years of experience in e-commerce content operations, QA, or digital merchandising support. Strong understanding of e-commerce PDP structures, content requirements, and retailer guidelines. Experience reviewing content on platforms such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and similar portals. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data validation. Strong communication skills to provide clear QA feedback and collaborate cross-functionally. Experience with content syndication or PIM tools (e.g., Salsify). Experience supporting FMCG, automotive, or consumer brands. Familiarity with content quality scorecards, audits, or digital shelf KPIs.
Roles and Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Validation: 1. Perform end-to-end QA on all Merchandiser deliverables including SKU setup, content updates, images, attributes, and categorization. 2. Validate product copy, titles, bullet points, descriptions, and attributes for accuracy, completeness, and brand compliance. 3. Ensure image assets meet retailer guidelines (format, resolution, labeling, sequence, and compliance). 4. Verify mapping and uploads in content management systems (e.g., Salsify) before publishing. Retailer & Platform Compliance: 1. Ensure all content adheres to retailer-specific standards and policies across platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, NAPA, Lowe’s, and others. 2. Validate PDP readiness for new SKUs, enhancements, promotions, and campaign launches. 3. Identify content gaps, errors, inconsistencies, or policy violations and flag them for correction. SLA & Process Adherence: 1. Ensure QA reviews are completed within defined SLAs and turnaround times. 2. Track rework trends and recurring quality issues to support continuous improvement. 3. Maintain QA checklists, templates, and documentation to standardize reviews. Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting: 1. Work closely with Merchandisers to provide clear, actionable QA feedback. 2. Coordinate with platform teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently. 3. Provide accurate status updates and quality metrics for assigned workstreams. Continuous Improvement: 1. Identify opportunities to improve QA processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency. 2. Support audits and periodic quality reviews across retailers and product categories.Any Graduation
