What would you do? • Doc Services/Group Pension and Underwriting: Prepare and issue Group Annuity Contracts, Certificates, Riders, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), ensuring compliance with pension and state regulations through coordination with Legal, Compliance, and Actuarial teams. • Support onboarding and maintenance of NAV Trusteed and Group Annuity plans by managing document workflows, adoption agreement reviews, and system updates in collaboration with Employer Records and Document Issuance teams. • Assist Underwriting and Document Services teams with special projects, perform quality control checks throughout the issuance process, and ensure timely publication and digital delivery of finalized documents via Relius Exchange. • Execute plan setup and updates within the OMNI system. Implement remediation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Plan Document Creation & Updates (SPD, SMM, IRS Letters etc.), Group Re-plan Activities (Reissuance of plan documents due to mergers, acquisitions, or plan redesign, Bulk updates to plan provisions (e.g., eligibility, vesting, contribution limits), Audit & Compliance Documentation (Annual Form 5500 filings), Procedural Documentation (SOPs, Checklists, audit controls) • Individual Doc Issuance: Process and issue Traditional Life, and Individual Annuity contracts, including IRAs, ROTHs, and FPAs, using the relevant enrollment system. • Conduct end-to-end policy and adoption agreement reviews, ensuring compliance with pension and state legislation through coordination with Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, and Billing teams. • Prepare and distribute Group Life conversion option letters via the Participants database and other relevant systems, supporting timely and accurate • Prepare and issue Group Annuity Contracts, Certificates, performing quality control reviews and coordinating with field teams to meet client-specific requirements and regulatory standards. • Employer Record: Enroll finalized retirement plans into OMNI system, update employer-level details, and perform system maintenance including year-end resets and file adjustments in the tools. • Identify and resolve discrepancies between plan documents and system records, coordinating remediation efforts across teams to ensure data integrity. • Verify completeness of plan enrollments and amendments, build plans with current provisions (including special enrollments), and manage complex fee structures for Group Annuity contracts. • Group Doc Issuance: Draft, finalize, and issue Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and Adoption Agreements for new and existing DB/DC plans, including cus
What are we looking for? 3-5 years of functional expertise in US Retirement Plansincluding both Defined Contribution (DC) and Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, with a strong focus on managing plan and participant level services and operations. • Comprehensive understanding of Group & Individual Document Issuance process and services, Employer Records Management, Doc Services, Group Pension and Underwriting and Employee Retirement Benefits. • Subject Matter Expert/ Trainer with 2+ years of experience in remote transitions, developing quality checklists, performing RCA, and developing action plans to improve quality performance. • Mandatory experience in 401(k) and/or 403(b) plan administration, including day-to-day operations, compliance, and client servicing. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; voice support experience required • ASPPA certified o Retirement Plan Fundamentals – RPF o Qualified 401(k) Administrator - QKA o Qualified 401(k) Consultant- QKC
