Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of software projects. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the overall success of the team by leveraging your expertise in application development. We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Front-End Developer with hands-on experience in ReactJS to build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications. The role focuses on implementing UI features, fixing defects, and ensuring consistent user experience while following established design, accessibility, and coding standards. This role works closely with Senior Front-End Developers, back-end teams, and the Team Lead to deliver high-quality front-end solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application specifications and user guides. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Development & Delivery Develop and maintain front-end components and features using ReactJS Deliver assigned UI tasks within sprint timelines and quality expectations Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Provide task-level effort estimates and timely status updates Identify and communicate UI-related risks, issues, and dependencies Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft FED ReactJS. - Strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices. - Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques. - Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Technical Responsibilities Implement responsive, reusable, and maintainable UI components Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional front-end code Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility Write clean, readable, and well-structured front-end code Fix UI defects identified during development, testing, and production support Follow performance, security, and accessibility best practices Support front-end build, deployment, and post-deployment validation activities Collaboration & Support Work under guidance of Senior Front-End Developers and Team Lead Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs Work closely with QA teams during UI, regression, and UAT testing Clarify requirements and design expectations early to avoid rework Documentation & Compliance Maintain component-level documentation and usage notes Follow defined front-end coding standards and review processes Adhere to security, accessibility, and compliance guidelines Support updates to UI guidelines and shared component libraries Technical Skill Sets Front-End Development Hands-on experience with ReactJS Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and component-based architecture Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 Familiarity with responsive design principles State Management & UI Patterns Basic experience with React state management (Context / Redux or similar) Understanding of component lifecycle and hooks Ability to structure reusable and modular UI components API Integration Experience consuming REST APIs from front-end applications Understanding of asynchronous calls and error handling Build & Tooling Familiarity with front-end build tools (npm / yarn) Exposure to bundlers and build systems (Vite or similar) Experience using version control systems (Git or equivalent) Testing & Quality Basic experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library or similar) Understanding of UI defect lifecycle and quality practices Cloud & Deployment Awareness Basic understanding of front-end deployments and hosting environments Familiarity with application logs and browser-based debugging tools Agile Ways of Working Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams Participation in sprint ceremonies and backlog discussions Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving front-end practices Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft FED ReactJS. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
