This role is in the Big Data Analytics (BDA) Domain. Our teams have a mixture of young talent and senior specialists and have a strong focus on delivering business value to our stakeholders. In addition, we work in the Scaled Agile Framework. Goals As a SAP HANA Cloud developer your main task is to analyze, design and implement data models and related procedures in SAP HANA Cloud, realizing our product backlog as defined by our Product Owner. Next to the development we expect you to own your solution by making sure it is optimized with a focus on scalability, automation, reliability, security and quality. You will be using multiple integrated systems, so you will also help to organize, build and maintain the interfaces together with the integration team and your architect. You will perform root cause analysis of production errors, resolve issues, design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, and build tools to reduce error occurrence. Some of our integrations are based on a pull mechanism, so knowledge of node.js and/or CAP may be required (depending on the role you re applying for). Your Profile Education Bachelor degree or higher. Technical Skills Good understanding of Data Modelling concepts is required: o Keys, cardinality, join types, layered approach. Good understanding of SAP HANA (Cloud) is required: o Experience with calculation views is a must. o Knowledge about authorization concepts (roles & privileges) is required. o Knowledge of procedures and table functions is required. o Knowledge about jobs and flowgraphs is a pre. Knowledge of SQL is required. Knowledge of GIT is an advantage. Knowledge of OData / REST services is an advantage. Basic CAP / CDS knowledge is required/ nice to have depending on the role you will take up in the team. Knowledge about SAP ECC/ S/4HANA/ BW, SAC, Datasphere, BTP is nice to have. Programming skills are nice to have (python, JavaScript, R). General knowledge of HR concepts is a nice to have. Non-technical Skills Fluent in English. Pro-active / self-starter: able to prioritize and plan your own work. Communicative (e.g. during the daily and/or when requirements are fleshed out in refinement sessions). Team player: collaborates effectively with colleagues, contributing to group efforts in a cooperative environment and focusing on achieving common goals. Willingness to understand the application software roadmap, oversee the bigger picture and manage dependencies. Supports and signals problems: able to do root cause analysis and produce potential solutions. Assertive: able to confidently and respectfully communicate limitations and negotiate feasible solutions while maintaining positive relationships.
