Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, your day involves serving as the primary liaison between clients and the application or system. You dedicate your time to ensuring seamless operation of high-quality systems by effectively communicating with clients and internal teams. Your role requires a thorough understanding of client concerns, enabling you to accurately identify issues and develop appropriate solutions. You contribute to maintaining system reliability and client satisfaction through consistent monitoring and proactive engagement, fostering a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and resolve complex issues.
- Document and share knowledge to support team learning and improve service delivery.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Dynatrace Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Shell Scripting.
- Strong understanding of application monitoring and performance management tools.
- Ability to analyze system logs and metrics to identify root causes of issues.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application and infrastructure problems.
- Familiarity with automation techniques to streamline support processes.
- Strong Linux fundamentals (processes, memory, CPU, I/O)
- Shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell optional)
- Observability - Instrumentation: Metrics, Logs,Tracing, Familiarity with tools such as, ELK / Loki / Splunk, Ability to set SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, dashboards, alerts.
- Incident & Problem Management - On-call readiness, Incident triage, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), postmortem writing.
- Automation & Programming Skills - Strong scripting in Java, Python, Go.
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) - Compute: EC2/VMSS, AKS/EKS/GKE/RDS/SQL.
- Containerization & Orchestration - Docker fundamentals / Kubernetes: deployments, services, ingresses, autoscaling, troubleshooting pods, nodes, networking / GitOps.
- Observability : In addition to the above skill set, the candidates should have knowledge on
Dynatrace and SumoLogic
Monitoring As Code (MAC / MONACO)
Log Management
Performance Analysis
Distributed Tracing
Data Quality

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Dynatrace Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
