Contract Associate Managers support the management of client contracts or portfolios in a way that maximizes value for Accenture and clients. They manage contracts in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and client business requirements.

They may lead contract management activities in small to medium accounts and supervise junior contract management professionals, acting as role models and trusted business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement & Contract Support

  • Lead or participate in contract management teams on specific projects or accounts, reporting into a senior contract management leader.

  • Provide day‑to‑day contract management support to client engagement teams and client counterparts.

  • Demonstrate the value of the contract management function to business and account leadership.

Contracting, Drafting & Negotiation

  • Draft and manage Statements of Work, change requests, subcontracts, NDAs, and other contractual documents.

  • Support negotiations to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

  • Assist with pre‑award sales activities, including RFP responses and contract schedules.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify contractual and commercial risks and issues and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Escalate matters in line with defined guidelines and support issue resolution.

  • Prepare contract management reports in line with account and delivery requirements.

People & Capability Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach junior contract management staff on assigned engagements.

  • Contribute to performance reviews, development planning, and training activities.

  • Participate in developing and delivering contract management training materials.

Commercial Management

  • Implement contract management processes on accounts.

  • Working with finance and delivery leads to apply contractual levers impacting revenue, cost, and margin.

  • Ensure awareness and communication of relevant contract policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant contract management experience

  • Exposure to complex or high‑risk deals is preferred

  • Experience leading or coordinating small teams is an advantage

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Solid understanding of general commercial contracting principles and subcontracting practices

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

  • Professional Dutch and English proficiency
