Role Mission
Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of the Health & Safety Management System during the construction phase of a wind farm project, ensuring compliance with Portuguese legislation and project HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on‑site activities: civil works, wind turbine installation and electrical works (MV/HV, substations)
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Plan (PSS)
- Prepare and review risk assessments, safe work procedures and Permit to Work (PTW)
- Coordinate HSE activities between contractors and subcontractors
- Perform safety inspections, identify deviations and implement corrective actions
- Investigate incidents and report HSE KPIs to the Project HSE Manager
Qualifications:
- Certified Senior Occupational Health & Safety Technician (TSST) or equivalent recognized in Portugal;
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese construction legislation (ACT, Decree‑Law nº 273/2003)
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience on construction sites
- Experience in wind farms, substations, high‑voltage lines or large industrial projects
- Portuguese (mandatory) | English (valued)
- Must reside in Portugal and have legal authorization to work in Portugal
