We are seeking an experienced Connected Services Mobile Engineering Specialist to drive the design, delivery, and quality of Android and iOS applications for automotive connected services. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with delivery governance, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑quality mobile solutions aligned to enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Leadership

Lead end‑to‑end mobile solution design (Android/iOS), ensuring alignment with backend connected platforms and enterprise architecture standards.

Review and approve technical designs, code quality, and integration approaches; mentor engineers on best practices.

Act as the bridge between product, business, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust mobile solutions.

Delivery Governance & Execution

Own delivery execution using agile methods, ensuring predictable outcomes, quality gates, and traceability across the lifecycle.

Establish and track delivery KPIs (quality, velocity, release readiness) and report status to stakeholders.

Lead UAT planning and execution, ensuring business validation before release.

Quality, Security & Compliance

Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and platform compliance requirements (app stores, data handling, identity).

Oversee testing strategies (functional, regression, performance, connectivity scenarios) and release readiness.

People & Capability Development

Coach and develop mobile engineers; support onboarding and capability building.

Contribute to proposals, estimations, and solution shaping for connected‑services engagements.

Delivery Lifecycle, Gates & Review Cycles (Role Ownership)

Stage Gates (Owned / Led):

Requirements & Architecture Review (lead)

UX / Security / Privacy Review (lead)

UAT Readiness & Sign‑off (lead)

Release Go/No‑Go (co‑own with product)

Agile Cadence:

Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives (lead participation)

Release Readiness Reviews and Post‑Release Reviews

Preferred Experience

Proven leadership in mobile application delivery within complex, enterprise or product environments.

Experience establishing governance models, KPIs, and reporting cadences.

Hands‑on involvement in UAT, release management, and operational readiness.

Key Skills

Strong mobile architecture and delivery leadership skills.

Stakeholder communication and documentation capabilities.

Ability to operate in matrixed, multicultural environments.
