Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across various teams, ensuring that application solutions align with business needs. The position requires overseeing the progress of development activities, addressing challenges as they arise, and maintaining clear communication channels to facilitate smooth project execution and delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application design and configuration activities to meet project goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth and project success.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and application configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within software applications.
- Experience in coordinating with diverse teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in application engineering.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Sterling Commerce.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
