Project Role Description : Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

Summary:
As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards, ensuring that data collection, storage, access, and usage processes are efficient and compliant. The practitioner actively drives data stewardship initiatives, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability around data management across the organization. Through these efforts, the role supports the creation of a reliable and well-governed data environment that meets organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data governance best practices and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to enhance data governance awareness and capabilities within the organization.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing knowledge to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
- Strong understanding of data quality management and data lifecycle processes.
- Ability to work with data management tools and platforms to support governance activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to data governance challenges.
- Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
