As a Senior Project Manager at Accenture Hungary, you will take end-to-end ownership of large-scale IT delivery engagements for major international clients — primarily in the DACH region. You'll lead cross-functional, multicultural teams through complex system integrations and software development programs, operating at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and stakeholder management.

This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, earns trust at the C-level, and knows how to turn ambiguity into structure and results.

What You'll Own

• End-to-end project delivery — lead complex IT programs across the full technology spectrum — from infrastructure and cloud transformation to application development, software delivery, and system integration — applying Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies as the project demands
• Team leadership — build, mobilize, and lead high-performing project teams of 10–20+ members, including client personnel and third-party vendors
• Client relationship management — serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders; manage expectations, escalations, and strategic alignment
• Financial accountability — own project budgets, forecasting, and profitability; report transparently to senior and executive management
• Delivery governance — establish and enforce project controls, risk management, quality standards, and reporting cadences
• Cross-border coordination — navigate cultural and organizational complexities across Hungarian, German, and international teams

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• 6+ years of hands-on experience leading IT delivery projects with full end-to-end responsibility
• Proven delivery track record across one or more core IT domains — infrastructure & cloud, software engineering, application development, or system integration
• Strong financial acumen — experience managing project budgets, commercial models, and senior-level reporting
• Deep knowledge of PM methodologies & tools — you know when to apply Agile, Waterfall, or a tailored hybrid approach
• Fluent in Hungarian, German and English
• University degree in Technology, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or a related field
• Exceptional communication & leadership skills — you lead by influence, not just by title
• Client-facing confidence — you're comfortable presenting to senior management and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes

Nice-to-Have

• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Agile certifications
• Experience in the energy, utilities, or financial sector
• Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients when needed
