What would you do? The Reporting Hub Analyst is responsible for the production, automation, and distribution of standard financial management and regulatory reporting on behalf of Group Finance. The role supports all Finance roles by centralizing repeatable reporting activities so that Financial controllers and FP&A teams can focus on review, judgement, control, analysis and challenge. The role operates within defined reporting standards, calendars and governance, using agreed reporting tools and data sources. Management Reports, for the scope of the Management Reporting Hub, are any recurring financial reports required to support the work of the Finance community including but not limited to R2R, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting. It does not include Group Accounts or local Stat accounts preparation
What are we looking for? EXPERIENCE: • Relevant Years of experience post-qualification in Finance & Accounting with a focus on FP&A and RTR at large organizations/ MNC • Prior experience in Finance or Tech Consulting preferred QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Graduate in B. Com, BBM, M.com, MBA or relevant field MUST HAVE SKILLS: • Good data handling and reconciliation skills; strong attention to detail. • Basic awareness of finance reporting processes and reporting cycles; keen to build understanding over time. • Ability to follow defined instructions, checklists and standard operating procedures. • Foundational accounting knowledge; understanding of basic finance concepts and principles. • Good written and verbal English communication skills. • Proficient in MS Excel • Ability to learn and adapt to various reporting tools and enterprise systems quickly and independently GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS: • Basic exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP AFO or similar.
Roles and Responsibilities: ROLE AND RESPONSIBITIES • Assist in the production of standard management reports in accordance with the agreed reporting catalogue and calendar. • Assist in data extract from approved sources under supervision and support the maintenance of reporting data models. • Support the operation of automated reporting routines, including scheduled refresh and basic validation checks. • Maintain and update standard reporting templates and dashboards as instructed. • Support in Preparing basic dashboards and data summaries (e.g. revenue, cost, KPIs) to support team deliverables. • Support the reporting timetable by completing assigned data extraction and report preparation tasks. • Respond to routine Business Unit queries under supervision and escalate complex issues to senior team members. • Provide regular status updates to the Senior Analyst / Manager and flag any data issues or delays promptly. • Actively learn reporting tools, templates and processes to build technical capability over time. Detailed Job Function: • Assist in reconciling report outputs to source systems under supervision; support preparation of bridges and explanations for review by senior team members. • Support BAU reporting activities post-automation by completing assigned report preparation tasks accurately and on time. • Assist in maintaining the reporting catalogue as directed. • Carry out defined validation and reasonableness checks as per standard checklists prior to report distribution. • Maintain and update existing reporting templates as instructed; flag any discrepancies or issues. • Ensure own reporting outputs adhere to defined controls, audit requirements and data governance standards. • Support the rationalization of obsolete reports by identifying and flagging redundant outputs to senior team members. • Complete assigned tasks within the reporting calendar on time; proactively communicate any delays or issues. • Perform pre-distribution quality checks on own work as per defined guidelines. • Maintain accurate run instructions, data definitions and audit evidence for assigned reports. • Handle basic client and stakeholder queries under supervision; escalate issues appropriately to the Senior team members. • Flag data quality issues as they arise and log them in the data-improvement backlog. • Keep the team informed of task status regularly and escalate blockers promptly.BCom
