Summary:
As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and shaping the overall data platform framework, ensuring that all components align with the strategic vision. This role requires close collaboration with various architecture teams to integrate systems and data models seamlessly. The position demands a thoughtful approach to creating scalable and efficient data solutions that support organizational goals, while continuously refining the platform to meet evolving business needs. The architect plays a pivotal role in guiding the technical direction and fostering synergy across multiple teams to deliver a unified data environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of data platform strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and architecture.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical and professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience in designing scalable data pipelines and managing large-scale data processing environments.
- Familiarity with data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to integrate data systems and optimize performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
