Apply for this job

We are looking for a motivated Business Transformation Consultant to help clients design, improve, and scale the way they work. You will support transformation projects across industries, with a focus on operating models, governance, service delivery, talent, technology enablement, and transformation roadmaps.

Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are a relevant and growing topic within this work. As organizations look to build scalable capabilities and improve service delivery, you will help clients explore and shape GCC-related opportunities in a practical way, alongside broader transformation, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), and operating model initiatives.

At Accenture, you will work in a dynamic environment with ambitious colleagues and diverse teams. You will have the opportunity to support leading clients on meaningful transformation challenges, turning ideas into practical plans, clear decisions, and measurable business outcomes.

Accenture Operations

As part of Accenture Operations, you focus on executing plans efficiently and achieving short-term objectives in line with the strategic goals. Within Operations, we also typically have longer engagements to ensure effective transformations, and the right capacity and capabilities are in place.

You will work together with our colleagues from different reinvention partners such as Talent, Digital Core and Industry & Enterprise. While their focus will be on setting up the operating model, our focus on Operations is to work together on implementing and executing the change and ensuring a smooth transformation for clients by achieving operational excellence. You typically work with mid-level management and department heads at the client and make a bridge to their operations through a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation Delivery

  • Support the planning and delivery of business transformation, operating model, service delivery, and capability-building initiatives across industries.

  • Help clients shape practical transformation plans, including clear activities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.

  • Contribute to operating model design, including service scope, governance, roles and responsibilities, talent considerations, process ownership, and technology enablement.

  • Support GCC-related work where relevant, such as service transition, capability mapping, governance setup, scale-up planning, and value realization.

  • Support maturity assessments, benchmarking studies, business case development, transition planning, and value tracking across transformation contexts.

  • Help define service catalogs, capability maps, KPIs, SLAs, governance forums, escalation paths, and decision-making structures.

  • Apply knowledge of AI, automation, analytics, and process excellence to improve operational performance, scalability, and business outcomes.

  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and help teams stay aligned on priorities, decisions, and next steps.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and help simplify ways of working to improve operational performance and customer experience.

Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to identify transformation opportunities, leading practices, and value drivers.

  • Analyse operating models, organizational structures, governance frameworks, service delivery models, and business processes.

  • Develop clear insights and recommendations supported by quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Create client-ready presentations, dashboards, reports, and decision materials that are easy to understand and action-oriented.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, internal Accenture teams, and subject matter experts across business, operations, technology, HR, finance, and transformation functions.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather input, align stakeholders, document decisions, and follow up on actions.

  • Support change management and communication activities to help teams adopt new operating models, processes, tools, and ways of working.

Governance & PMO

  • Maintain practical project materials such as RAID logs, decision registers, action trackers, status updates, and governance documents.

  • Track progress against milestones, KPIs, value realization metrics, transition deliverables, and agreed transformation outcomes.

  • Support planning, reporting, dependency management, issue resolution, resource coordination, and leadership updates.

Capability Development

  • Contribute to reusable transformation assets, templates, maturity models, benchmarks, and knowledge repositories.

  • Support proposal development, client presentations, offering materials, and thought leadership related to business transformation, digital operations, enterprise service delivery, and GCC topics.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), enterprise transformation, PMO, operations, change management, or business transformation.

  • Fluency in Dutch and excellent command of English.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or practical experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.

  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear messages.

  • Experience creating client-ready presentations and engaging with senior stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, project management, change management, PMO practices, and transformation delivery disciplines.

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.

  • Experience supporting or applying AI-enabled transformation, automation, analytics, or digital process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred
