THE WORK:
- You’ll develop and execute global procurement and category strategies for electrical, mechanical, modular infrastructure, and long-lead equipment.
- You’ll lead strategic sourcing, RFPs, competitive bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- You’ll manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure capacity, quality, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery.
- You’ll negotiate and manage commercial agreements, pricing structures, supplier terms, and long-term contracts.
- You’ll evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing capacity, proposals, quality performance, and delivery reliability.
- You’ll partner with Engineering, Construction, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams to support program execution.
- You’ll develop capacity-planning strategies and secure supply for critical and long-lead equipment.
- You’ll identify and mitigate supply-chain risks, supplier constraints, and delivery or quality issues.
- You’ll monitor supplier and contract performance while leading escalations and corrective actions when needed.
- You’ll drive cost optimization, continuous improvement, and strategic procurement recommendations for key stakeholders.
- Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure.
- 5–8+ years of experience leading strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier selection activities.
- 5–10 years of experience in commercial negotiations, contracting, pricing agreements, and supplier terms.
- Strong experience managing strategic suppliers, capacity planning, supplier performance, and supply-chain risk.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience procuring or managing suppliers of long-lead equipment.
- Experience with master agreements, long-term agreements, and supplier allocation models.
- Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, modular construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing global supplier networks and complex technical sourcing programs.
