We are looking for a Frontend QA Lead to continuously assess the quality assurance processes for our digital presence (website and app content – functional and design testing). You will participate in the respective workstreams with technical and business counterparts to ensure successful testing, delivery, reporting, and enablement. 

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? 

• Assess the current state of Frontend QA in adidas: how are digital marketing campaigns tested, defects reported, tracked, and resolved? Understand the as-is process and identify automation opportunities and propose more efficient, scalable, and automated solutions 
• Own the implementation of the solution, the process definition, and the change management with the affected teams 
• Define staffing needs to run the proposed solution and in alignment with senior management build up a QA team (3-5 people) 
• Collaborate with stakeholders on identifying common bugs and develop respective test cases 
• Guide, coordinate, and coach the QA and Test team's day-to-day operations.  
• Follow-up with our external partners to ensure effective delivery  
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback 
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing documentation 
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities 
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts 
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved 
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products/campaigns

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Proficient spoken and written command of English 
• A good listener and have strong communication and project management skills 
• +6 years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in launching digital content across a global organization
• Strong work ethic, a real “can do” attitude 
• Experience with Content Management Systems for marketing campaigns
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting 
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases 
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing 

WHAT DOES OUR UNICORN LOOK LIKE?

• Experience with our current CMSs (SDL Tridio and STRAPI)
• Programming knowledge of Java / Javascript
• Experience in testing frontend tools (SerenityBDD, Playwright, Cypress) and familiarity with Visual Testing Tools (Applitools, Percy) 
• ISTQB Certification
