Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The position is open in the Consumer and Marketing Data Domain team. We enable data scientists, analysts, and business users across the Sales, Digital and Marketing departments globally and locally with data to analyse our consumers base, their habits, their behaviours, build right segmentation, personalization and to ensure a unique experience for each of our consumer finding efficiently products that are relevant for them.
In the role of the Product Owner for the Scrum team Marketing Data, you will have a diverse task list ranging from product management, project support, business analysis, refinement of requirements with stakeholders abroad, release and deployment management and proactive idea exploration of services that will make the product more valuable for internal customers. You will bring the ideas to production from initial explorative talk up to go-live and retirement if not needed anymore. On the daily basis, you will translate and bridge effectively between stakeholders’ need and the Scrum team. The success of the product will be measure on the adaption of the product and value to cost ratio.
Key Responsibilities:
Product management
- Applies standard techniques and tools to carry out analysis and performance monitoring activities for specified products.
- Defines stories and epics, set success criteria’s and set sprint goals.
- Drives product management and support the lead PO in product vision.
- Supports problem resolution, resolves issues and acts on feedback and usage of in-life products.
- Thinks about a product as an entrepreneur with great features, certain service levels and a high value-to-cost ratio.
Requirements definition and management
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
- Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements (Scrum methodology).
- Translate business requirements into data requirements.
- Bridges between Engineering team and stakeholders and own the communication on best solutions given effort vs. ROI for assigned stories.
- Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
- Documents traceability to source and solutions.
- Reviews and test requirements for errors and omissions.
- Investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
- Prior Experience with Marketing Modelling data products preferred.
Business analysis
- Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.
- Does data analysis to support business cases, requirement refinement and to investigate data flows and data quality issues.
Portfolio, program and project support
- Uses recommended portfolio, program and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
- Sets up sprint goals, update stakeholders accordingly on expected delivery timelines and contribute to quarterly and yearly roadmap management.
- Provides administrative services to project boards and story creation.
- Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.
Release and deployment
- Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities.
- Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken.
- May carry out early life support activities such as providing support advice to initial users on defects and service disruptions
