Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The purpose of the E2E SCM Digital Solutions department is to enable supply chain processes that set standards in our industry by building, improving and testing tools and capabilities that power our value streams and serve our Operations community.
Within the E2E SCM Digital Solutions department, the Testing Management Team owns and leads the SCM testing strategy to ensure quality, reliability, and business readiness of digital products across SAP, WMS, and related platforms, enabling fast, safe, and scalable delivery.
As Director SCM Testing, you shape the testing vision and quality strategy across our digital Supply Chain landscape. You work in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams to ensure reliable, business ready releases at scale for all Supply Chain Value Streams (Supply Chain Planning, Source to Pay, and Fulfillment/DC Operations), while developing people, capabilities, and ways of working that enable continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing Strategy & Execution
• Shape and evolve an enterprise wide testing strategy across SAP (for example S4/HANA), WMS, and peripheral systems
• Enable the shift toward product centric, highly automated quality practices embedded in continuous delivery
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to establish testing standards, governance, and best practices
• Ensure appropriate end to end test coverage in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
• Use quality metrics and insights to support fact based decision making and continuous improvement
• Guide automation strategy and system integration testing across complex landscapes
2. Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure their priorities, expectations, and requirements are fully reflected in the testing strategy
• Act as a key interface between Supply Chain Operations and Technology, ensuring operational priorities, quality expectations, and business outcomes are clearly reflected in testing approaches and delivery plans.
• Establish and manage effective working relationships with program management teams when testing is delivered as part of larger transformation or delivery programs
3. People Management
• Build sustainable team structures that balance delivery needs with long term capability development
• Create an environment where teams feel supported, challenged, and empowered to deliver high quality outcomes.
• Develop talent through coaching, feedback, and meaningful development opportunities
• Encourage open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and constructive problem solving. Ensure clear direction for the team to meet business needs.
• Coach the team on modern quality testing practices

Job related skills:
• Strong background in SAP programs and complex system integrations with ability to scale test automation in complex landscapes
• Experience with warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain platforms
• Experience working in agile and product based delivery models, leveraging data for effective delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement, including with senior business and technology leaders
People skills:
• Lead a senior product organization in partnership with IT consultants and extended delivery teams, influencing outcomes beyond direct reporting lines
• Shape and role model an open, inclusive product culture where complex topics are discussed constructively and decisions are made transparently
• Contribute to people and talent strategy across the broader organization, including capability building, succession thinking, and recruitment priorities
• Act as a senior ambassador across the network, building alignment, trust, and strong collaboration with key business and technology stakeholders
Requisite Education and Qualifications:
• Significant experience operating in complex Supply Chain and/or IT environments, working with diverse stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including coaching, talent development, and collaboration across extended delivery networks.
• Experience with SAP S4 is a must.
• SCM operational experience is preferred, ideally with experience as product owner or working Agile
• University degree in business administration or a related field
