MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
RP tasks – Sales Assistant

Is aware of store and individual targets and actively works to meet or exceed these by using all the resources available in the store

Meets or exceeds customer expectations, boosts sales and drives brand recognition by using appropriate elements of the customer service model

Creates an emotional connection with every customer by being a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador

Proactively incorporates basic core and seasonal product knowledge into his/her service approach within his/her assigned store zone(s)

Maintains an appealing, pleasant and inviting environment for customers to shop in and pays attention to Visual Merchandising as well as tidiness and cleanliness
-
Complies with store rules and procedures (SOM regulations) to maintain a safe shopping and working environment

Ensures the product offer in the store is made available to customers by assisting with deliveries and replenishing the sales floor

Completes sales transactions quickly and accurately while adhering to defined cash protection procedures (if applicable)

Minimizes loss by always keeping an eye on stock levels while serving customers

Trains new team members (if applicable)

Collaborates productively and respectfully with team members to meet or exceed store targets

Endless Aisle (if applicable): informs customers about new ordering/sales possibilities in the online shop and uses the Endless Aisle tablet to offer product descriptions and/or customer feedback on products during the sales process

Click & Collect (if applicable): supervises and monitors new online orders which are placed by online customers and have to be reserved, packed and handed over to the customer in the store
RP tasks – Visual Merchandiser
Merchandising Display

Ensures that the stores adhere to European standards and guidelines, offering all consumers a brand shopping experience
-
Ensures best-in-class set-up of all shop windows, including outfit and positioning of mannequins, lighting, cleanliness, steam application and price indication
-
Is responsible for clearly separated in shop-in-shop set-ups to emphasize category specific product presentation
-
Ensures correct usage and positioning of in-store communication tools
-
Executes correct dressing of mannequins and positioning of props in the store
-
Uses and maintains Brand Retail and VM standards and organizes regular training on these topics for the respective store team
-
Regular reporting from the stores such as monthly entries in the VM Compliance Tool including taking pictures and uploading these in the system
-
Planning and implementing of marketing activities, campaigns and activations in alignment with the Marketing department and VM Manager
-
Provides input and, after consultation with VM Manager and the Marketing team, orders the Instore Communication Tools (ISC) for the respective store, if applicable

Basic competencies of a Retail Professional

Fluency in local language (written and spoken), good knowledge of English

Basic MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Apprenticeship as a Retail Professional
-
Completed vocational training as visual marketing designer desirable
-
At least 6 months of work experience in sport and/or fashion retail
-
Willingness to travel occasionally and support store openings in other locations
