About the role
You will be part of the Sales and Business Development Organization at Agile Robots SE. As an Application Engineering Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration of our collaborative robotic solutions into customer environments. You will lead a team of application engineers, collaborate with the sales team, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
Your Responsibilities
  • Hire, lead and mentor a team of application engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance
  • Lead the application engineering team in designing and implementing collaborative robotic solutions tailored to customer specifications
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, engineering, and research & development, to provide valuable insights and feedback for product improvement
  • Act as a bridge between the application engineering team and other functional areas within the organization
  • Engage directly with customers on-site and virtually to understand their unique challenges and requirements
  • Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, feasibility studies, and solution architectures
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the application engineering team to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of collaborative robotics
  • Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides
  • Document best practices for application development and integration
Your Profile
  • Proven leadership experience in application engineering or a similar technical role, preferably in the robotics or automation industry
  • Strong knowledge of collaborative robotics, including programming and integration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Business fluent English and German skills
  • Independent, thorough and team oriented describes your attitude towards work
  • You are enthusiastic, good communicator, highly motivated and supportive
