About the role

We are seeking a driven Electronics Engineer with demonstrated hands-on experience in designing complex PCBs for advanced robotic systems. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining existing electronics to ensure continuous system operation, while also developing innovative electronic designs for next-generation prototypes.

Success in this position demands strong technical expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt and make informed decisions in uncertain or fast-changing environments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for complex robotic systems
  • Select and integrate electronic components (motors, drivers, sensors, power systems) for optimal performance
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for production
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation (BOMs, test procedures, compliance reports)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing robotic systems
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for system integration
  • Implement power distribution solutions for high-performance electromechanical systems
  • Design and validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanisms
  • Support manufacturing team during production and assembly• Conduct signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC mitigation
Essential Skills
  • Strong expertise in motor control systems (BLDC)
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium)
  • Experience with embedded systems design (microcontrollers, FPGAs)
  • Knowledge of power electronics (DC/DC converters, battery management)
  • Familiarity with sensor integration (encoders, force/torque, IMUs, vision systems)
  • Understanding of communication protocols (ethercat, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
  • Experience with harness design and cable management for moving systems
  • Ability to perform signal analysis and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
  • Knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applications
  • Experience with thermal management of power electronics

  • Background in designing electrical systems for articulated mechanisms
  • Experience with real-time control systems and feedback loops
  • Familiarity with lightweight power solutions for mobile applications
  • Knowledge of wireless power and data transmission and charging systems
  • Experience with failure mode analysis and reliability testing
