In the Propulsion Engineering Technical Capabilities team, we are leading the Method and Tools activities to efficiently perform the engineering of current flying aircrafts and also to prepare the future of Methods and Tools for next generation aircrafts. We offer you to join us in this journey as a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineer !

In this job, you will be a great player to propose and deploy PLM solutions. Then you will be in position to contribute to several exciting projects.

In addition to Legacy PLM transformation and support, you will have the opportunity to mature the future ways of working using Dassault System 3Dx and participate in Next Generation programs targeting low emission.

You will be part of a team rich of specialists in several disciplines where you will find opportunities to learn more out of your technical specialty (Digital Mock-Up Integration, Structure sizing and optimization, Engine performance, Acoustics, Overall digitalization, etc.). In order to lead the Method & Tools transformation, the team collects the business needs, participates in the Method & Tools strategy set-up and deploys the solutions.

Your main missions:

Your working environment will be very diverse, embracing several different projects, teams and products.

  • On legacy PLM, you will be a technical support for the Propulsion Engineering Teams to operate in the different PLM, and to deploy new improvement or transformation solutions.

  • For the PLM solutions for future Aircrafts, you will collect the needs of operational people in order to define or influence the PLM choice. Your understanding of Airbus end to end benefits (Engineering, Manufacturing and in Service Support) will be essential to promote valuable solutions.Then you will act as a key player to influence, mature, test and deploy the new ways of working.

Your personal assets:

  • You are strongly interested in the transformation projects which will bring new values for Airbus.

  • You are autonomous and able to manage priorities in a diverse and changing environment.

  • You are a good teammate and have the ability to work throughout silos and organizations

Your technical passport:

  • your experience (3 years minimum) in PLM concepts and tools (eg: Gilda, PASS, 3Dx, Cores)

  • your experience in Configuration Management concepts and tools (eg: APS)

  • you are fluent in English, French would be a plus

Salary range:

Salary range based on the required profile: 45 000 to 55 000 €/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
