Job Description:

The candidate will join a team responsible of all Jigs and tools at Illescas Airbus site for aircraft components manufacturing in composite material

Main task of the position consists of ensure successful industrialization of JIGS AND TOOLS ASSEMBLY ASSES (creation, development and modification) for the new program of A350F Main Deck Cargo Door

Functions:

-Jigs and Tools Tool Request: analysis, assessment and acceptance.

-Design and/or specify the requested Jigs and Tools assembly assets according to requirements from Manuf. Engineering Process Engineer, Operations, Health and Safety and Ergonomics, Maintenance Engineer and Plant/ FAL Quality Assurance Representative for Jigs and Tool or representative.

-Suppliers technical down selection.

-Technical Project leader including technical interface to supplier.

-Jigs and Tools definition for Maintenance, Training, Recertification and re-calibration.

-Ensure the provided solution is fully integrated within the industrial system through a robust acceptance process set on defined Key Performance Indicators.

-Jigs and Tools Handover to Operations.

-Support Finance activities to elaborate the CapEx and/or OpEx dossier.

- Support Plant in all the activities where a Jig and/or Tool asset is involved.

-Support root cause analysis of Non Conformities and improvement projects.

Required Skills:

-Proven > at least 2 years experience on industrialization of Jigs and tools for aircraft assembly lines: platforms, drilling templates, automatic/manual assembly asses....

-Robust technical knowledge in assembly of aerostructures: drilling, fastening, tolerances, ground tests, equipping...

- Willingness to work at shift patterns

- Manufacturing technologies of aerostructures in composites

- Design capabilities in CATIA V5

- Fluent English written and spoken

- Communication, speak up

- Team working
