Are you a Senior Developer with a passion for product strategy? Navblue is looking for a candidate to join us as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Product Owner. This role is a hybrid of deep technical contribution to our Python libraries and strategic leadership in shaping the product roadmap for our predictive data products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision and roadmap for the Skywise platform internals.

  • Backlog Management: Define requirements, manage and prioritize the team backlog, and ensure clear acceptance criteria are met.

  • Hands-on Development: Contribute significantly to the development of our Python-based frameworks, maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

  • Technical connection: Act as the primary bridge between customers, stakeholders, and the technical team, ensuring that business needs are technically feasible and sustainable. Participate in the extended Product Management team defining business priorities and program backlog refinement.

  • UI Leadership: Guide the direction of our frontend applications in Slate, ensuring a customer-centric design and excellent user experience.

Your Profile:

  • Engineering Excellence: 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with advanced Python skills and experience in data-intensive environments.

  • Product Mindset: Proven experience or strong aptitude for digital product management, agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication. Knowledge of DevOps principles

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to guide a team, define engineering best practices, and facilitate backlog refinement, and make difficult prioritization decisions based on business value.

  • Technical Communication: Fluent in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Frontend Awareness: Familiarity with or willingness to learn HTML, JavaScript, and the Palantir Slate framework to better guide frontend initiatives.

  • Product Management: Successful experience in digital product management, in collecting and managing customer expectations, interfacing with technical teams, facilitating backlog management.
