Job Description:
Within Airbus Defence & Space, and for the Space Systems Earth Observation and Science (EOS) business line, the successful candidate will join the Spanish Future Programmes team (TSOAS).
As Program Manager/Bid Manager, you will lead the program team during the program preparation phase B, and you will lead the program team for the phase C/D proposal preparation and
negotiation with the Customer. If the negotiation with the Customer is successful, you will continue managing the program during the execution phase (C/D), with a transfer to the Spanish EOS Programmes line (TSOY).
Tasks and accountability:T
The successful candidate’s main task is to lead the bid/program, including:
Customer communication, including discussion of all issues during the proposal preparation and the life cycle of the Program.
Program/Bid team and stakeholders management.
Decision making at program level, with full authority in the frame of the proposal preparation, negotiation with the Customer, and contract execution, in coordination with HO TSOAS program line.
Project Structuring/WBS Definition.
Proactive Risk and Opportunity Management, contractual and schedule management, budget and cost controlling.
Coordination of the industrialization process, supporting Industrial manager.
Management of the development activities in full coordination with the project team.
Business travels can be expected on monthly basis in Europe and consequently, you must be willing to travel accordingly.
Skills:
The successful candidate shall have the following qualification, experience, and skills:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in aerospace industry with a strong background in program management and industrial management, and strong leadership skills.
Professional experience in studies, proposals and implementation programs for Space Systems.
Eligibility to access information up to "Reservado nacional level " is required.
Team leadership, ability to give meaning and energy.
Ability to understand Spanish EO Business and the future mission needs.
Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with team leading experience.
Innovative, entrepreneurial and industrial mindset.

Fluent in Spanish & English. Proficiency in French language is an advantage.
