Join the Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation team in Airbus India, a key hub driving this global change. We are looking for proactive Data Architects / Data Modellers for our federated company data architecture model referential.
As a core member of our team, your mission will be to create, integrate and shape the global design of the company's federated ontology and related business- and IT data architecture models. Thus, you will be instrumental in implementing the strategic data mesh approach across the entire company, fostering data continuity, advanced analytics, and strategic decision-making. Primary Responsibilities: Drive Global Data Strategy
Strategic Data Leadership: Own the technical design and architectural direction for the Enterprise Architecture Repository, ensuring the system efficiently models complex data relationships such as Business Capabilities, Applications, and Products.
Facilitate Data Federation: Guide domain Data Offices and Architects in converging on a common, federated enterprise data architecture, focusing on seamless data flows along critical business processes.
Metamodel Alignment & Governance: Own the implementation and enforcement of the company's Enterprise Metamodel and modeling consistency across all EA tools, leveraging expertise in MDG (Model Driven Generation) and scripting.
Repository Integrity & Quality: Assume rigorous accountability for the integrity and quality assurance of the company's central data architecture repository and all managed data models.
Stakeholder Enablement & Mentoring: Proactively engage and enable contributors across business domains while mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level developers to ensure solution quality.
Migration Strategy: Drive the strategic roadmap for data modeling, including the planned migration from legacy systems or NoSQL environments to highly relational structured database systems.
Continuous Improvement: Define the team's best technical standards and provide critical feedback to owners of related governance, methods, and tools to drive excellence.
Qualification & Experience: Your Profile
Expertise: 10+ years of overall software industry experience, with at least 4-5 years in a hands-on technical leadership or senior modeling role .
EA Tooling Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience developing, supporting, or administering major EA tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS, Hopex, or Alfabet.
Aviation Knowledge: The global understanding of the business context of an Aircraft manufacturer in order to connect the business needs business and IM solutions is a plus.
Analytics Focus: Practical experience in data analytics, dashboarding, and related applications.
Modeling Standards: Expert understanding of modeling specifications and frameworks, specifically ArchiMate and TOGAF.
Agile Experience: Extensive experience working in agile environments following methodologies like Scrum or SAFe at scale.
Soft Skills: High level of stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage contributors of the federated data model through open communication and agility.
