VIE - 2027 - Germany/Hamburg - Business Manager Cabin Upgrades (d/f/m)

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Operative contribution to all business management aspects for the Cabin Upgrade perimeter with its own P&L responsibility

  • Budget management including related risk management in line with legal requirements

  • Establishment and optimisation of the relevant dashboards necessary to manage the perimeter

  • Various internal stakeholder interfaces to cover all aspects of our business

  • Contribution to team activities & support specific team needs on request

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Experience within Aerospace/Mechanical/Production or Engineering, Information Technology or similar study field

  • IT skills: MS Office / Google suite

  • English: fluent

  • German: good knowledge appreciated

  • You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
