Job Purpose:


Accelerate Data-Driven Marketing Strategies with Salesforce Expertise.

We're looking for a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll transform marketing strategies by leveraging the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), its modules like Engage and Personalization, and your technical prowess. Through custom development and platform optimization, you'll empower marketers to deliver personalized, impactful customer experiences.

Key responsibilities:

Technical Implementation:

  • Transform marketing requirements into elegant technical solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Customize the platform using AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and API integrations.
  • Journey Building and Automation: Design and implement sophisticated customer journeys in Journey Builder. Leverage decision splits, data extensions, and cross-channel engagement to deliver real-time, personalized communications.
  • Enhance Personalization: Utilize Salesforce Personalization to capture real-time behavioral data, driving contextual recommendations and tailored experiences across channels.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Develop dashboards and reports that offer actionable insights into campaign performance. Analyze metrics to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and guide strategy refinement.

Strategic Collaboration and Technical Leadership:

  • Work closely with marketing teams to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and messaging strategies. Ensure technical solutions seamlessly support marketing objectives.
  • System Architecture & Best Practices: Stay abreast of Salesforce Marketing Cloud's latest updates, features, and best practices. Propose optimizations to enhance automation, personalization, and platform efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with d, data, and analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of data and systems, enabling a holistic view of customer interactions.

Qualifications/Key skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, specifically Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, SQL, and AMPscript.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate marketing goals into technical requirements, including data modeling, segmentation, and campaign logic.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal, to bridge the gap between marketing and development teams.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer) would be highly valued.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Salesforce Personalization: Experience in creating dynamic content blocks, progressive profiling strategies, and data management for hyper-personalization.
  • Cloud Pages/Web Development: Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus for building custom landing pages or microsites within SFMC.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Java-based API development for advanced integrations with external systems.
