A Technical Product Owner is part of an Agile Squad having the responsibility of maximizing the customer’s value of the product resulting from the work of the team. The TPO defines the product vision in close alignment with various stakeholder and is responsible for prioritizing the product backlog.

You will

  • Accountable for capturing client needs, prioritizing it with the help of the Agile Squad or experts for maximizing early value delivery.
  • Effectively collaborate with Technical Product Owners of other squads within the Tribe to ensure end to end delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represents the customer view and is in charge of stakeholder management. Engaging with stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and end users, to gather feedback, communicate product updates, and manage expectation.
  • Empowered to make aligned decisions to achieve the product vision and delivery of early value.
  • Regularly provides updates and creates transparency towards the stakeholders on the plan and progress of the Agile Squad.
  • Knows the product, steer the consistency of the product lifecycle management, and prioritizes consistently.
  • Ensures that the Product backlog items are visible and understood by the agile Squad Members and he/she is able to managing team‘s capacity and provide a rolling forecast for increase in required capacity
  • Promotes the agile values, principles, and way of working.
  • Ensures that product increments are delivered in high quality and iteratively considering customer and stakeholder feedback thus ensuring continuous product improvement.
  • Knows the respective costs and budget on agile squad level to plan adequately.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and the development team to gather and document product requirements, ensuring that the product meets the needs of the end users.
  • Technical Leadership: Providing technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring that the product is developed using best practices and aligns with the organization's technical standards.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating technical risks, dependencies, and impediments that may impact the delivery of the product.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure that the product meets quality standards and that testing efforts align with the product's technical requirements.
  • Release Planning: Collaborating with the development team to plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring that technical dependencies and release timelines are managed effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement of the product and development processes through feedback loops, retrospectives, and lessons learned.

Your skills

  • You enjoy working with people - individually and in groups and are solution-oriented, proactive, independent, structured and reflective. You communicate clearly, can adapt flexibly to a counterpart and are enthusiastic about new topics.
  • You have an agile mindset, live agile leadership (servant leadership) and agile methods.
  • Having 10 + years of work experience in SAP SuccessFactors/HCM especially on Employee Central module. “Know how” of EC Time & attendance, EC Payroll is a plus.
  • Support the SAP best practice in leading business development efforts, creating delivery plans.
  • Monitor the performance of implemented SuccessFactors solutions and take necessary actions to ensure high availability and high performance.
  • Apply technical expertise to resolve complex SuccessFactors application problems. This may include troubleshooting issues related to user experience, data model, integration between modules, performance, etc.
  • SuccessFactors certification on mentioned modules is a plus.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience
