Who will you be joining?

The Group People and Culture (GPC) develops the people strategy and drives the actions that support our people worldwide in embracing and executing on our Allianz Purpose. We continuously strive for a superior employee experience and operational excellence enabled by high quality data to achieve transparent and fair people decisions. In the Talent & Leadership Department we collaborate closely with the AZ SE Board of Management, their business divisions, and partner with the People Directors of our Operating Entities across the world to ensure that we grow a robust talent pipeline with the right mindset and skills and enhance talent experience as well as quality and best fit of people decisions.

As Senior Product Owner for Talent Development you will play a key role in creating and delivering value to our talents and to our organization by ensuring operational excellence at every touch point of our customer journey, by deriving and tracking actionable and impactful insights from multiple talent data sources, and by steering strategic talent priorities worldwide in alignment with our business ambitions. Additionally you will prepare with the team presentations enabling the AZ SE Board of Management to take fair and fact based people decisions.


How can you make an impact?


You will:

  • Manage effectively the talent products portfolio by systematically performing continuous monitoring of key talent data, steering deliverables, reviewing priorities
  • Proactively identify gaps & trends and come up with proposed targeted actions that ensure business impact and add value to talent development and experience
  • Lead functionally the team responsible for continuously improving and simplifying operations and processes
  • Collaborate with the senior talent partners in Talent & Leadership to define the agenda, focus topics and kpis for SE Allianz Board of Management discussions in alignment with the yearly talent cycle
  • Interact with other GPC functions, BDs and Heads of Board Offices to prepare in collaboration with the team updates, presentations and people decisions for the AZ SE Board of Management
  • Drive the target achievement of strategic talent priorities (e.g. Women in Leadership) by regularly steering and supporting the OE (operating entities) worldwide
  • Define “fit for purpose” talent kpis for the Strategic and Planning Dialogues cycles supporting business ambitions
  • Lead/contribute to other cross functional strategic projects

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree with excellent academic record
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Previous experience in business related functions (i.e., Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) and in HR is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience thereof 4-5 years of relevant work experience in finance or operations
  • Ability to get quickly into new topics, streamline complexity and solve challenges through strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to create storylines for Board presentations
  • Strong curiosity to learn, creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize even in changing situations
  • Proficient at dealing with numbers and data (analysis, interpretation, steering)
  • Strong outcome orientation with ambition to drive change and create business impact
  • Proven track record in analysis of data and derivation of recommendations
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Passionate team player with ability to work in cross-functional, international set-up
  • Proven experience in interacting and partnering with Senior Management, OEs and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Good understanding of insurance business
