You will be part of Solvd Internal Audit and responsible for audit projects, focusing on technology-enabled business operations, emerging technology trends, data governance and management, and artificial intelligence. The role is about adding value to the business by identifying business risks at an early stage and helping to improve the internal control system.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in preparation of the quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB
- Perform analysis of Solvd financial statements to ensure compliance and integrity of financial reporting
- Act as interface with the auditors on accounting matters and significant transactions
- Overseeing the quarterly and annual closing of Solvd GmbH
- Supporting the implementation of CSRD in the Solvd Group and key contact person for Solvd GmbH
- Key interface between Allianz Group Centers and Solvd Group entities as the local environmental officer for Solvd
- Analysing transactions of the Solvd Group from an accounting policy perspective and alignment with the Allianz Group Accounting Policy Department
- Supporting the development and implementation of a group charging model and ensuring quality of the cost accounting together with outsourcing partner
- Reporting of the financial results of Solvd GmbH to the management and co-chair the Financial Reporting and Disclosure Committee
Experience & Qualification
- Solid IFRS and HGB accounting knowledge with 4 – 7 years working experience
- Proficiency in using SAP, Microsoft Office (strong command of Excel) and IT reporting tools
- Very good analytical and communication skills, strong team player
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly evolving environment while delivering high quality solutions
- University degree in finance, economics, or related field; additional professional qualifications preferred (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
- Fluent in business English and German
How can you make an impact?

You will plan, design, lead and execute technology-specific audits including topics such as technology systems, IT projects, and environments, evaluating the effectiveness of controls and risk management practices.

You will identify risk-focused audit areas, assess business processes, workflows, transactions, and control frameworks to determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities.

You will analyze audit results, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and lead closing meetings with auditees.

You will ensure proper documentation of audit work performed, including detailed workpapers and take responsibility for writing comprehensive audit reports and following up on the implementation of the agreed actions.

You will manage relationships with auditees, handling challenging situations, and delivering conclusions in a diplomatic and professional manner.

You will communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing timely updates on audit progress and outcomes.

You have a comprehensive knowledge of digitalization and data analytics.

You will stay informed about emerging technological trends and developments and assess their impact on business operations and risk management practices.
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:

You have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

You have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in technology auditing or technology risk management, preferably within the financial services industry.

You have a strong understanding of technology, associated risks, control frameworks, and leading industry practices.

You have a good understanding of auditing principles and techniques, as well as risk management concepts.

You demonstrate a high level of integrity, reliability and responsibility.

You are open to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are a plus.
