Organization & Change is the Allianz Trade Business Architecture & Change Execution team. We translate the company’ strategy into operational solutions, assets or processes. We drive their implementation. We maintain them through continuous improvements. Our mission is to enable strategy execution through business change design and implementation, drive operational efficiency via continuous improvement of existing assets & processes, maintain the knowledge of our value chain, operational processes and systems. The team is therefore at the heart of the execution of the Ops & IT and Digital Transformation for Allianz Trade, driving the change in the different functional Domains.

As a Product Owner within Group Organization & Change Surety, you will:
- Enable Surety's growth plan and IT transformation towards digitalization and operational excellence
- Lead the design and development of new products/feautures/processes within Surety, from the design to the launch, followed by continuous improvements
- Ensure implementation of Agile/Scrum best practices and promote continuous improvement

In a nutshell, you will take full responsibility over assigned Surety applications, processes and projects.
Key responsibilities include:define the vision and strategic roadmap, own the scoping, business requirement analysis, process & solution design, prioritization, backlog, operational roadmap, delivery, quality, testing, adoption, budget management, progress updates, and Steering Committee presentations associated to the deployment of new Surety IT features, business capabilities and projects.

The role will include close interactions with Group Surety, other Group Organization & Change teams, Group IT, Regional Surety Organization & Change teams and Regional Surety teams.

Your main tasks:

As a Product Owner, your overarching responsibilities are:
- to define the short / medium term product strategy based on Surety strategy and implement it
- to maintain the product backlog: define, co-design, help writing and prioritize the next features / user stories and plan the releases
- to follow up dependencies and determine best ways to deal with those.
- to ensure the smooth running of the sprint
- to represent users and stakeholders: listen, observe and translate the expressed needs into functionalities
- to guarantee quality: find the right balance in the prioritization between functionalities and technical complexities
- to contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and the product
- to ensure the agile rituals are in place
- to carry out the tests of the product

Depending on Surety priorities and project portfolio, you may be assigned to the maintenance of a Surety application and/or to the delivery of Surety change projects :

1. Maintenance of a Surety application:
- Identify, collect, clarify business needs, prioritize them with the Group Surety Business Owner, and delivery an application roadmap supporting clear and defined business goals
- Define solutions to deliver the business needs together with IT architecture and the development team and translate them into detailed user stories
- Work with the development team to deliver the features in production, incl. ensuring proper test strategy is in place, and communicate on the changes delivered in the application to Surety Business
- Animate the squad with the relevant agile rituals
- Ensure a smooth day-to-day run of the application and secure quick resolution of any defects in production

2. Delivery of Surety change projects:
- Take full responsibility over one or several Surety change projects (e.g. growth, productivity, operational excellence, IT transformation), which includes the following key tasks: scoping, business case design, request of the budget, implementation plan definition, timeline & roadmap, team set-up, stakeholder onboarding, detailed process & solution design, user stories definition, timely delivery with IT teams and Business teams, squad animation based on agile rituals, progress updates, steerco updates, budget monitoring, testing plan, super-user animation, go-live, post go-live follow-up
- Example of change projects are: extension of the Surety SME digital platform (e.g. new features, new BUs...), development of Surety APIs (e.g. integration with brokers..), design and development of new Surety business processes and associated IT capabilities from scratch (starting with an MVP), enhancement of existing target Surety IT applications with new features or modules, migration of legacy Surety IT applications to target IT applications

Typical Functional Skills / Experiences:

- Solid understanding of Surety Business with previous experience in Surety
- Previous experience within Allianz Trade as Product Owner, Business Analyst, ROC or Super-User and solid understanding of Allianz Trade IT landscape

Other requirements:
- Appetite for Surety and for projects with IT implementation
- Structured, rigourous, organized, analytical, pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset
- Project management skills, including experience in agile projects and JIRA/Confluence tools
- Capacity to work independently, take clear ownership, prioritize, arbitrate and handle project pressure
- Good communicator with capacity to listen and persuade, strong team spirit and wiliness to embrace agile values
- Ability to detail processes and analyse impacts and dependencies
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
