We are seeking a Product Owner for Cloud Detection & Response to drive our efforts in reshaping and enhancing our Cloud security posture for 2025 and beyond.

In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of innovating and improving the detection and response capabilities within our AI-driven Cyber Defense Center. You’ll take ownership of critical security processes while collaborating with a global team and stakeholders to continuously evolve our cloud-based defense mechanisms.

What will make you succeed in this position?

• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or similar;
• Relevant work experience in areas of CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform) and management of cloud-related security incidents
• Understanding of Cloud Security principles and best practices;
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management / Cloud Workload Protection tools, such as Prisma, Wiz, or CrowdStrike CSPM, or similar solutions;
• Experience managing security across multiple cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in addition to AWS and Azure
• Solid understanding of technical and organizational aspects of information security, e.g., through prior defensive or offensive work experience;
• Software engineering skills in different programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, PowerShell, Assembler);
• Experience with Version Control systems and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub);
• Up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities: how to properly identify, triage, and remediate threats based on threat intelligence as well as on analysis of security events, log data and network traffic;
• Certified as Product Owner;
• Strong ability to interact with both technical colleagues and non-technical staff in exceptional situations to ensure correct actions are taken and communication partners collaborate;
• Fluent English in speaking and writing and Communication skills: clear and concise communication; able to address stakeholders of different backgrounds and technical expertise;
• Ability to communicate and explain complex technical topics to both management and technical specialists;
• Ability to work proactively with the clear desire to become an acknowledged technical guide in your own area of expertise;
• Display a high degree of problem-solving skills and of-of-the-box thinking;

Your mission in the role will be:

• Act as Product Owner for a redesigned product within a global Cyber Defense Center;
• Ownership of detecting and responding to cyber threats;
• Further improve detection & response capabilities based on technology around the cloud by showing an out of the box thinking mentality to innovate
• End-to-end ownership of response actions to identified alerts within the product;
• Initiate appropriate actions to continuously improve processes as well as response playbooks;
• Organize product backlog and squad members to deliver incremental changes based on SCRUM methodology;
• Maximizing the value of the product, roadmap creation and measuring Allianz Technology’s customer experience and satisfaction;
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog, which includes clearly articulating product backlog items, positioning items to best achieve goals and objectives, representing stakeholder desires, and ensuring visibility of the product backlog;
• Regularly update and maintain transparency with the customer on the next priority items for the Scrum Team;
• Ensures that the team understands the backlog items, the ACDC strategy, the Detection & Response strategy to the needed level;
• Ensure high-quality, iterative delivery of product increments, considering customer and stakeholder feedback to achieve continuous product improvement;
• Collaborate with other Product Owners and provide guidance on global roll-out roadmap/backlog prioritization;
