About the Job

As a Software Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for software products and services. This includes managing relationships with software vendors, ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policies, and performing tasks related to the Ariba tool.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. This role focuses on executing standard activities as defined by the Group.

What you do

  • Manage relationships with software vendors and act as the local buyer, overseeing all stages of the procurement process.
  • Conduct RFx activities for new software requirements, executing and managing the end-to-end software procurement process.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies (AGSP) and regulatory standards like DORA, GDPR, and TPRM, while staying updated on changes.
  • Handle complex procurement processes, create and manage purchase orders, and collaborate with the controlling team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize the Ariba procurement tool for RFx activities, ensuring accurate data entry and system maintenance.
  • Implement spend category strategies in line with the Group, coordinating with stakeholders such as Data Protection and Information Security.
  • Realize stakeholder management to maximize total cost of ownership savings, meet Procurement targets, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.

What you bring

  • Familiarity with procurement tools, particularly Ariba, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as DORA, GDPR, and TPRM.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, alongside strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, with fluency in French being essential; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage procurement processes efficiently, ensuring compliance and effective stakeholder engagement as well as strong analytical skills to support procurement strategies and decision-making.
  • Preferred qualities include a proactive attitude, initiative, and independence in managing multiple topics. Ability to analyze data for fact-based decisions and communicate convincingly. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships and influence demand across all hierarchical levels
  • 5+ years of experience in a procurement role, with at least 2 years specifically in software procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
