Organizational Design and Change is a Headquarter department reporting into the Allianz Technology People and Culture function.
The Organizational Development team is supporting the Allianz Technology Executive Management Team to develop into the Target Operating Model. It is responsible for the global implementation, maintenance, and future refinement of the organizational structure globally to support the digital transformation and to become an agile company. Further it is responsible for the global coordination to standardize and harmonize organizational setup to increase efficiency. This focuses on the one hand on the global collaboration in a functional structure, but also the local disciplinary setup of more than 20 entities worldwide.
The job at Organizational Development combines two roles:
(1) Acting as Organizational Design Expert to analyze, further develop, implement, and maintain the corporate organizational structure jointly with the respective board function and regional management.
(2) Acting as Project Manager to assess the maturity of the branch operations (20+ countries) towards the Target Operating Model, to define the gap and to manage the implementation to become compliant.
What you do
- Plan, monitor, control and report project progress to program management governance and escalate issues if necessary. Contribute to strategic projects by implementing and facilitating reorganizations and structural changes
- Support the continuous development of the organizational streamlining activities and be responsible for the documentation and global implementation.
- Lead one Organizational Transformation Squad to support specific board functions to enable functional steering on global level as well as continuous refinement of the structure and operating model (e.g. Finance, Operations, Application functions, IT Infrastructure & IT Security, Regions). Squad members are Controlling, Change, HR and board function representative.
What you bring
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably with a consulting background and international IT company or experience in a global company with a Masters degree in Business Economics or (Strategic) Management.
- Experienced in organizational development, including structure and process design, change management and communication, with professional experience in large-scale transformation projects.
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English and preferably an additional foreign language.
- Very good demonstrated Project Management skills, capable of exchanging complex information with diplomatic tact and cooperating with a diverse internal and external audience, including top management.
- Excellent analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual skills, along with moderation and presentation abilities.
- High level of reliability, dedication and commitment, with the ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized, ever-changing work situations.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
