As Financial Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring commercial and financial excellence across critical IT service clusters within Allianz Technology. Working closely with Finance, Controlling, Service Owners, and Account Management, you will help steer financial performance, ensure transparency, and support informed decision‑making.
This role combines financial expertise, commercial mindset, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will be responsible for managing costs, pricing, planning, forecasting, and billing processes, while ensuring full compliance with Allianz Technology governance standards. Through your work, you will directly contribute to P&L performance, margin optimization, and sustainable service delivery in a complex, international environment.
What you do
- Own commercial and financial steering for assigned service clusters, ensuring strong P&L governance, cost control, revenue assurance, and margin optimization.
- Manage provisions and accruals end-to-end, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and transparency for monthly/quarterly reviews.
- Coordinate true-up / true-down activities and support the O2I billing process, preparing monthly quotes and ensuring accurate, compliant billing.
- Ensure billing aligns with contracts, approved change requests, and global pricing frameworks, validating commercial impact before financial booking.
- Support pricing management (incl. re-pricing and benchmarking) in collaboration with Service Owners and the Pricing team.
- Contribute to business case validation for new services, transformation initiatives, and automation opportunities.
- Support annual planning and financial outlook, ensuring accurate cost inputs (infrastructure, labor, other costs) and consistency with account commitments.
- Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis (Actual vs. Forecast vs. Plan), identifying risks/opportunities and driving actions to improve predictability and margins.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in commercial management, financial controlling, or IT services finance within a global organization.
- Experience in commercial service management or comparable roles.
- Solid understanding of pricing models, financial processes, and cost structures.
- Good knowledge of IT service delivery models, outsourcing frameworks, and enterprise account environments.
- Experience working with enterprise planning and reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.
- Structured, detail‑oriented working style with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and cultures.
