About the Job

The Allianz Technology Finance Hub in Barcelona is looking for a Financial Controller to support Allianz technology Germany. As Controller, you will be the local Finance POC for Allianz Partners, DCC and Business Applications related topics and secure the scope by closely monitoring budget (run and projects) and FTEs and reporting any deviation to stakeholders.In addition, you will support the Controlling team with the performance of standard controlling tasks. You will report to the Finance Manager in Spain for Germany.

What you do

  • Monitor actuals vs. plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and track ongoing progress of major project initiatives whilst ensuring accurate monthly billing reporting to the Customers and provisions calculations.
  • Collaborate with Pillar Partners Controllers in Munich to steer efficiently P&L as well as ensuring the preparation of financial accounts on a monthly basis, e.g. services, materials and cost centers.
  • Provide financial analysis, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Track the financial targets within the strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes (long, mid and short term perspective).
  • Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis and achievement of planned targets.
  • Manage pricing processes, approve prices and support calculation as well as coordinating transfer pricing compliance.
  • Contribute on guidelines, methods, best practices, processes and systems for controlling area.

What you bring

  • Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or related area as well as 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with relevant work experience e.g. in accounting, controlling etc.
  • Possess controlling, economic and business knowledge; experienced in the application of systems that are relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI-CO/BW.Quick understanding of existing procedures and ability to carry out concrete tasks in efficient cooperation with team members and other colleagues.
  • Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information.
  • Capability to take responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team and applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques.
  • Role model character with talent to drive new ideas and take new perspectives to challenge existing solutions.
  • Possessing understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
