What you do

  • Oversee planning, administration, operations, monitoring, and reporting of the company’s systems, including server complexes and application systems.
  • Ensure system continuity, performance, and compliance with information security standards.
  • Manage daily system administration, updates, and monitoring of application performance.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Application Maintenance Team to ensure high-quality support and continuous service improvement.
  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of application incidents, problems, and changes, in close collaboration with ITSM functions (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Manage major incident lifecycle process for disruptions affecting business operations
  • Maintain, update and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of application-related issues.
  • Drive operational excellence, standardization, and best practices for application maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation and resource allocation within the directorate.
  • Monitor task execution, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure business continuity and system security.
  • Own communication with business stakeholders regarding application stability, planned maintenance, and service impacts.
  • Maintain operational contacts with application system and service providers.

What you bring

  • Higher education in technical fields, mathematics, informatics, or computer science.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, application ecosystems, cloud environments, and monitoring tools.
  • Proven experience in a management position, preferably in IT systems, operations, or information security.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and take decisive action during high-impact incidents.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on IT developments.
  • Ability to use AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Copilot etc.
