About the Job
The Allianz Technology Finance Hub in Barcelona is looking for a Financial Controller to support Benelux Region.
The Financial Controller plans, forecasts, reports, analyzes, and challenges Financial KPIs and their main driver for services, projects and line cost centers in close collaboration with the business, and co-ordinates improvement measures. She/He advises and supports managers in all financial controlling topics.
Furthermore, the Financial Controller is responsible for implementation of controlling processes and systems and ensuring compliance to controlling-relevant standards.
What you do
- Analyze the financial performance of the company, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide transparent and visual recommendations to enable decision-making.
- Create and deliver financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for various stakeholders on ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly bases, while performing monthly expense analysis and completing reporting templates.
- Monitor actuals versus plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and track the ongoing progress of major project initiatives.
- Develop financial targets and recommendations within the strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes, including long, mid and short-term perspectives and perform annual planning by delivering planbook input, staff cost input in SAP and revenue planning.
- Manage pricing processes by approving prices, supporting calculations, coordinating transfer pricing compliance, and liaising with procurement on contract costs, while also managing billing processes, approving invoices and updating service descriptions.
- Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of guidelines, methods, processes, and systems for controlling topics to enhance financial planning, reporting, and operational efficiency.
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role possessing controlling, economic and business knowledge, with relevant work experience in Accounting, Controlling etc.
- Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or related area.
- Experienced in the application of systems that are relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI-CO/BW.
- Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques.
- Quick understanding of existing procedures and ability to carry out concrete tasks in efficient cooperation with team members and other colleagues; role model character with talent to drive new ideas and take new perspectives to challenge existing solutions.
- Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information as well as taking responsibility and being accountable for a project or a team.
- Possessing understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
