The Analyst (m/f/d) Acquisition & Sales will be part of the European Acquisition and Sales team with a focus on North & Central Europe and be based in Frankfurt. In this role, you will be actively modelling, reviewing, and executing transactions to form our diversified global real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dive into the world of real estate investment as you provide essential support to the PIMCO Prime Real Estate Europe Transactions Team
  • Your focus will be on reviewing and executing new acquisitions, sales and borrowing activities across North & Central Europe
  • Utilize and expand your financial modeling expertise to build and manage bespoke underwriting financial models, enabling in-depth analysis to produce best in class numbers for our clients and internal committees
  • Showcase your exceptional communication skills as you prepare memorandums and presentations for new transactions, presenting recommendations to the internal transactions teams and decision making bodies
  • Taking an active role in the support of due diligence processes for new investments or sales, and the preparation of internal due diligence documents
  • Gain valuable experience by assisting in negotiations related to investments and collaborating on the drafting of transaction documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external partners, attending meetings, and build up your own professional real estate network
  • Contribute to regular reporting activities of investments and help to organize global investment forum and other internal conferences
  • Play a part in driving new business and product development across sector strategies, conducting market research and preparing investment strategy papers.
  • Support for any financing activity for standing assets or new investments
  • Team player in a dynamic & international team working together across locations & countries

Key Requirements

  • University degree with strong academic background, with additional training in real estate management as a plus
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and with prior knowledge of Argus Enterprise as a plus
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling skills and writing ability
  • Very good communication and cooperation skills
  • High level of commitment, personal responsibility and motivation
  • Team player
  • Fluency in German and English is a pre-requisit
  • Prior experience in a leading real estate investment manager, investment bank, or private equity as a plus
