Job Purpose

- Drive business transformation enabled through technology delivery to support Business and Operations/IT Strategy for Asia
- Coordinate decision making, planning and execution amongst internal/external stakeholders to achieve desired objectives

What you do

- Lead and ‘single point of contact’ for transformation program(s) and transformation team(s) for Allianz in Asia


- Drive transformation program(s) to meet business objectives and improvements in key performance indicators that create impact across different business functions


- Partner with regional, group and local teams to rollout new solutions across the value chain

- Program Management and Governance
• Oversee and ensure delivery of programs in time/cost/quality
• Operating entity(OE)/Partner Onboarding: engage OE/Partner stakeholders to define/agree program objectives, as well as setup/run
• project structures (OE/Region) for implementation
• PMO: setup/run project management framework(s)/processes, planning, monitoring, reporting, administration, as well as issue resolution
• Program Governance: ensure setup/run of appropriate decision making and steering mechanisms


- Solution Steering and Harmonization
• Manage demand and quality of solutioning
• Target Design: ensure target solution(s) design awareness and usage of target design during implementation
• Solution development/screening/approval: develop solution(s) and/or analyze proposed solution(s) prior to implementation, as well as
• present proposals to appropriate forum(s)
• Solution reusability: identify solutions applicable across multiple OEs and ensure consistent design/solution implementation across all OEs


- Change Management
• Work collaboratively with the country transformation leads/teams to drive change
• 'Good practice’ sharing: setup community and ensure experience exchange across all OEs
• Communication: setup communication plan, develop communications and communicate to all stakeholders
• Stakeholder management: setup/run engagement forums and platform
• Implement Health platform (Core, Claims, Distribution Management System etc)
• Drive implementation of platform (Core, Claims, Distribution Management System etc) to upgrade technology capabilities in key Health
Internal
• markets in Asia
• Define approach and methodology to achieve Product/Process/Technology harmonization at regional level
• Work closely with Az Technology, OEs, external vendors and Group to implement deliverables required to deploy target platform in OEs

What you bring

- Management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences
• Strong decision making and planning skills. Able to make decisions quickly and efficiently
• Proven competency to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships
across all departments
• Proven consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and ensure delivery of initiatives
• Demonstrated flexibility and be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet strict deadlines with sudden and unpredictable
changes that may occur


- Technical skills
• Strong analytical skills, technical and architecture experience, preferably in insurance sector
• Experience with traditional and Agile methodologies
• Proven competency in analyzing business requirements for regional/cross-country initiatives
• Ability to improve processes and procedures; present opportunities for change
• Business skills
• Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and the insurance regulatory environment
• Experience in insurance business working on technology transformation and implementation programs (preferably in Asia)
• C-level business acumen and management
• Strong presentation and communication skills at Board level (local, regional, global)
• International work experience across multiple geographies and jurisdictions

- Strong track record in delivering similar scaled program management and senior management/partner/stakeholder relationships


- Ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage given the markets involved


- Bachelor’s or MBA Degree


- 15+ years in Insurance and/or Technology industry

- AI-skills e.g. ChatGPT or Microsoft CoPilot an advantage
