Job Purpose/Role:
Roles And Responsibilities
• Work closely with functional experts to understand business needs
• Build, own and maintain data products on our data platform
• Develop scalable data solutions of good quality
• Ensure the security and reliability of the platform by implementing best practices for data governance, data security and compliance
• Enable data democrastisation by empowering our users with data dictionaries, data flow diagrams and detailed user guides
• Foster a data-centric culture across organization
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply relevant learnings to optimise our solutions
What We Expect From You
Must-Haves
• Bachleor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing and data modelling
• Highly skilled in data modelling techniques and lakehouse architecture
• Proficiency in SQL and able to work with complex queries
• Extensive knowledge with bi-temporal modelling
• Strong expertise with Databricks & DBT
• Knowledge in programming language, e.g. scala, python
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably with Azure
• Moderate experience in data visualization tools, e.g. Power BI
• Experience with data-mesh architecture
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Nice-To-Haves
• Familiarity with Kafka
• DAX skillset
• Knowledge of agile way of working
• Experience in insurance or finance industry
