About the role

  • Managing a national based portfolio of motor claims though to settlement.
  • Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders and providing the best possible outcomes for our customers.
  • Understanding and adhering to all relevant policies, while working within the compliance and regulatory requirements of the role.

About you

  • Passionate about excellent customer service with a strong customer service based background with the ability to balance a customer first approach, empathy and compassion with the best commercial outcome for AAL.
  • Managing an incoming call queue to support customer and stakeholder claim enquiries
  • Managing outbound calls and written correspondence (inclusive of letter writing) to customers and stakeholders to discuss claim enquiries, policy coverage and manage claim fulfilment
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of Domestic Home and Contents or Landlord property claims up to $100,000
  • Ability to assess and analyse expert reports to evaluate against the policy product to determine decisions and coverage
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
  • Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy demonstrating strong solution-focused approach
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain a hybrid working dynamic of in office and home
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous insurance claims experience or case management preferred but not mandatory.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
