Job Purpose/Role

Private Markets are a strategically important and fast-growing area of our business, characterized by increasing investment complexity and data volume. The Reporting, Analytics & Investment Support team plays a central role in ensuring high-quality operational processes, accurate data management, and reliable reporting across all Private Markets strategies.

The team supports the full investment lifecycle from transaction and data handling to investor reporting and analytics and collaborates closely with investment teams, service providers, and other internal stakeholders. We are continuously enhancing our operating model and reporting architecture to drive automation, improve data quality, and enable scalable solutions that meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.

In this environment you will play a key role in shaping the way Private Markets data and processes are managed, contributing to the efficiency, transparency, and quality of our global reporting and investment support setup.

What you do:

In this role, you will contribute to the operational and analytical backbone of our Private Markets platform by ensuring high-quality data, accurate reporting, and meaningful insights for our Infrastructure Equity and IFCO strategies. You will work closely with investment teams and other stakeholders to deliver reliable information that supports sound investment and management decisions. In particular, you will carry out the following duties:

  • Prepare reports and perform analytical work for the Private Equity and Infrastructure Funds & Co-Investments (IFCO) strategy, providing insights into fund performance, transactions, and portfolio development.
  • Manage data handling and reporting activities for both strategies, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial and transactional data within eFront and other internal databases, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with source systems.
  • Create reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the transparency and understanding of fund activities and performance.
  • Support ongoing data governance and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams, operations, risk, compliance, and external service providers to ensure smooth data and reporting flows.
  • Identify and support process automation and efficiency improvements, leveraging digital tools and data-driven solutions.

What you bring:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in the asset management or alternative investments industry, ideally with exposure to private markets strategies such as Infrastructure Equity, Private Equity, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of fund and vehicle structures, financial data flows, and reporting processes within Private Markets.
  • Experience with systems such as eFront or reporting tools like Power BI is a strong plus.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel; VBA, Power Query, or Power Automate knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience in applying generative AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT to improve operational efficiency
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality outputs under time pressure.
  • Proactive, process-oriented attitude with a strong interest in automation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); German or other languages are an asset.
