As a Business Analyst Chapter Lead (f/m/d), you represent a key leadership role within the Business Enablement Area, responsible for shaping business analytical excellence and enabling high‑quality, value‑driven delivery across Squads. Operating within AllianzGI’s Data & Technology Delivery Model, you will acts as both a disciplinary leader and a capability builder, ensuring Business Analysts consistently apply modern, agile, product‑oriented practices.
This role places strong emphasis on cultivating an agile mindset, empowering Chapter members to think iteratively, embrace continuous learning, and work collaboratively within cross‑functional Squads to deliver measurable business outcomes.
This position will be based in Frankfurt.
What you will do
- Establish and continuously evolve best‑practice frameworks, methodologies, and tools for business analysis and quality assurance, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery across all Squads
- Guide Business Analysts in stakeholder engagement, requirements framing, and quality assurance practices; provide hands‑on support for complex topics and ensure customer‑centric, value‑driven analysis
- Partner with Squads to address recurring or cross‑product issues raised by consumers, ensuring root‑cause remediation and alignment across impacted Products
- Create a vibrant learning culture by organizing regular knowledge‑sharing sessions, sharing emerging practices, and promoting cross‑Squad collaboration and professional growth
- Define clear, consistent performance expectations and capability standards for all Chapter members
- Conduct fair, holistic performance reviews linked to delivery context, governance requirements, and business expectations
- Provide structured coaching, continuous feedback, and development planning
- Identify opportunities for Analysts to gain exposure to different Products, develop new skills, and pursue formal training aligned to future capability needs
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Area Business Lead to allocate analytical capacity effectively across Products
- Recommend adjustments to resourcing based on changing priorities, workload, or skill needs.
What you bring
- Strong academic foundation with a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related field
- Strong familiarity with AllianzGI’s technology and application landscape
- Good understanding of business needs across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and HR domains, with the ability to identify value drivers, support product strategy, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow Business and Data Analysts; skilled at fostering continuous learning, capability uplift, and high performance
- Demonstrated strength in building a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing community, promoting best practices and professional growth across the Chapter
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving capability, with the ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, evolving business needs, or complex stakeholder landscapes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with Product Owners, Area Leads, business stakeholders, and technical teams
- Skilled at managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating discussions, and ensuring alignment across multiple functions
- Strong understanding of and commitment to agile values and iterative delivery, enabling Analysts to work effectively within Squads and adapt quickly to change
- Experience coaching teams on agile ways of working or contributing to agile ceremonies is highly beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft CoPilot is desirable
- Fluency in English both written and spoken is required; additional languages are a plus
